Guardians of the timechain
Before the first block, there was only noise. Then, out of the dark, a nameless smith forged a chain of time, block by block, and hammered honesty into it with pure work. But a chain of truth draws those who would rewrite it. Something had to stand watch.
So the Dragon Guardians were born. Two thousand five hundred pixel wyrms, each bound to a stretch of the timechain, each breathing proof-of-work fire. They perch on the blocks and let no ledger be rewritten, no satoshi be forged, no history be undone. While a Guardian watches its block, that block is eternal.
For six hundred thousand blocks they have guarded in silence. Now, for the first time, a Guardian can answer to a keeper. Claim one, and it is inscribed to you on the very chain it protects, yours to hold as long as the timechain runs. Which block will your Guardian watch?
